The St. John's Hotel offers a stylish and contemporary setting, located just a few miles outside the UK’s second largest city. Birmingham is a modern and vibrant city in the West Midlands which enjoys a strategic position, being at the hub of the UK’s road and rail network, with excellent European and International air connections. The St. John’s Hotel itself will be of sole use to RedShift International 2008.

Hotel Reservations

Customers should make hotel reservations direct with St. John’s Hotel. For partners and other third parties, we kindly ask that you book your accommodation at the Holiday Inn, Solihull which is just half a mile from the conference venue.

Booking details, including discount codes, will be supplied when you register for the conference.

The St. Johns Hotel is centrally located within minutes of Birmingham International Airport and rail stations and within quick and easy reach of the major motorways.

• A 10 minute drive from Birmingham city centre

Transportation

The closest airport is Birmingham International Airport located 4 miles from the hotel. Approximate taxi fare from the airport is 9.00 GBP. Attendees of RedShift are responsible for ground transportation to and from the airport. All transportation for any offsite event will be provided. Solihull train station is approximately 5 minutes walk. From Birmingham city centre, Moor Street station offers a direct service to Solihull station.

Driving Directions

From the North: Follow M1 Junction 23A, onto A42 which leads on to the M42, Exit at Junction 5 and take the third exit (signposted Solihull Town Centre).

From M6: Exit at Junctions 4A leading on to the M42, exit at Junction 5, take the third exit (signposted Solihull Town Centre). See below for directions from M42

From the South: From the M1, Junction 19, on to the M6, Exit at Junction 4, leading on to the M42, exit at Junction 5, take the third exit (signposted Solihull Town Centre). See below for directions from the M42. From the M40 join the M42 at Junction 3A signposted Solihull. Exit at Junction 5 and take the first exit (signposted Solihull Town Centre). See below for directions from the M42.

From Junction 5 of the M42: From the roundabout, take the slip road off to the left signposted Solihull Town Centre (B4025). At the small roundabout, take the second exit onto the Warwick Road. Continue straight ahead through 3 sets of traffic lights (you will pass Safeway Supermarket on the left after the third set of lights) and over the pedestrian crossings. You will see the Barley Mow pub on the left as you approach a large roundabout. Take the second exit (straight ahead) and The St. Johns Hotel is immediately on your right.
